The Redeemer-DC is a double cutaway version of the Redeemer. It's a highly customizable and original design electric guitar that is available as a contoured solid body, chambered body or semi hollow body. With these body options it is a very versatile guitar in tone, sustain, weight and asthetics. At 13.25" wide at the lower bout, it is a slight bit larger than a Les Paul. Just like with all other models, this guitar had many models and protoypes that came before and led the way for it to be the machine that it now is. Several nitrocellulose finish options range from thin open grain natural satin to closed grain high gloss color. You'll find that the wide range of options here allow the Redeemer to have have either a rustic or more refined asthetic. Just like with all Gronlund guitars, it's meticulously handcrafted here in the state of Maine with hardwoods and top quality components from Emerson Custom, TonePros, Kluson, Bigsby, Schroeder, Mastery, McNelly Pickups, Porter Pickups, TV Jones, etc.

Base price of $2450.

We can of course also gladly consider options not listed. Just ask and more than likely we'll be able to make it happen! To get an exact price and build time, email directly at

  • Neck Carve: There are five neck carve options here. The numbers shown here are the thickness measurements from the top of the fretboard to the backside of the neck at both the first fret and the 12th fret. These necks, like most all guitar necks, gradually taper to a thicker profile as you approach the 12th fret. All of these necks are traditional C profiles. Ask about any other shape such as a D, V, etc or any custom measurements and it shouldn't be a problem to carve for you!

  • Finish: Below are two nitrocellulose lacquer finish options followed by solid and semi-transparent color options.

    • Satin
Satin nitrocellulose. Very smooth, fast and thin. The guitar top is mirror flat while the back, sides and neck are open grain and have a more natural wood feel. Add $100 for any semi-transparent or solid color of your choice.

    • Gloss Top and Headstock/Satin Back and Sides (Add $150)
Exactly like the previous finish option except the top+headstock are high gloss instead of satin. The back, sides and neck remain open grain satin. Add $100 for any semi-transparent of solid color of your choice.
